The Qastal Industrial City is a major mixed-use industrial and logistics development planned in Al-Qastal, strategically located near Queen Alia International Airport and the main transportation corridors connecting Amman, Zarqa, Madaba, and Balqa. The project is planned across a strategically positioned site and comprises multiple buildings with a total gross built-up area of approximately 572,584 m², supporting industrial, logistics, commercial, and service activities. The objective of the study was to assess the anticipated transportation and traffic impacts of the proposed development and evaluate its integration with the surrounding road network. The assessment aimed to ensure that the site's strategic location, proximity to major transport corridors, and strong logistics potential are supported by an efficient and safe transportation framework capable of accommodating future development-generated traffic. Our company prepared the Traffic Impact Study for the proposed development, assessing the project's traffic generation and its potential impacts on the surrounding transportation network. The study considered the scale and characteristics of the proposed industrial and logistics uses, the site's accessibility, and its strategic relationship with major regional transportation routes and surrounding infrastructure. The study supported the planning of a major industrial and logistics destination in Al-Qastal by assessing its potential transportation impacts and identifying the requirements for effective integration with the surrounding road network. The assessment contributes to ensuring efficient accessibility, reliable freight movement, and safe traffic operations, supporting the project's strategic role within the national logistics and commercial network.
