Traffic Impact and Internal Mobility Study for the Alsha'aer Waste Collection Unit, assessing existing traffic conditions and internal vehicle movements through comprehensive site surveys. The study identified potential traffic conflicts and safety risks and developed alternative circulation scenarios to improve internal operations, accessibility, and road safety.
The Alsha'aer Waste Collection Unit is a specialized operational facility requiring efficient and safe internal vehicle circulation to support waste collection and related activities. The study was undertaken to assess the existing traffic conditions within the facility and identify potential conflicts affecting internal vehicle movements and operational safety. The primary objective was to evaluate the traffic impact of the development and regulate internal traffic movements, with particular emphasis on identifying existing circulation issues and potential conflict points that could lead to operational inefficiencies or accidents. Our company conducted a comprehensive site visit and traffic survey covering the facilities within the study area. The collected data and observations were used to assess existing traffic conditions, vehicle circulation, and interaction between different movements. The team identified existing and anticipated conflict points and developed alternative traffic circulation scenarios to address the identified issues. The study identified key internal traffic and circulation challenges and developed a range of alternative improvement scenarios. Each scenario was assessed in terms of its operational benefits, potential implications, and ability to reduce conflicts and improve safety. The recommended solutions provide a structured approach to improving internal traffic flow, reducing accident risks, and enhancing the overall operational efficiency of the facility.
